Objective

The session was organised in collaboration with the Indian Banking community to assess the readiness of banks for ISO 20022 migration, while aligning industry efforts towards achieving the G20 cross-border payments goals by 2027. The engagement aimed to address key implementation challenges, share global perspectives, and strengthen collective momentum ahead of the November 2025 deadline.

Swift has been working closely with the Indian Banks Association throughout the year to build awareness and readiness for ISO 20022 adoption. With the migration deadline approaching, multiple engagements have been conducted to support banks in their transition journey, with this session further accelerating industry momentum.
